Renderer / Solid Plasterer

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Prepare walls, floors, swimming pool interiors, and other surfaces for rendering and plastering.
• Apply render, plaster, cement, and finishing coats to swimming pool interiors and related structures.
• Measure, mix, and prepare plastering and rendering materials to the required consistency and specifications.
• Use trowels, floats, screeds, and other hand tools to spread, level, smooth, and finish surfaces.
• Achieve smooth, even, and high-quality finishes suitable for swimming pools and other construction surfaces.
• Apply render and plaster to required thicknesses and ensure surfaces are properly aligned and level.
• Repair cracks, imperfections, and damaged plaster or rendered surfaces as required.
• Work from construction plans, specifications, and measurements to complete rendering and plastering tasks accurately.
• Perform surface preparation including cleaning, levelling, bonding, and waterproofing where required.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment safely and efficiently, with strong practical skills and confidence working with a trowel.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas and minimise material wastage.
• Inspect completed surfaces for consistency, smoothness, level, alignment, and overall finish quality.
• Follow Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and safely handle cement, plaster, chemicals, and other construction materials.
• Complete work efficiently and to required industry, quality, and construction standards.
• Experience in swimming pool construction and pool rendering techniques is preferred.
