- Remove old floor coverings and clear debris.
- Repair and level subfloors.
- Measure rooms and cut carpet and underlay to size.
- Install tack strips (smooth edge) and padding.
- Stretch carpet using knee kickers and power stretchers.
- Seam pieces together using heat-sealing tape or glue.
- Trim edges and clean the work area
