The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Skilled in working with aluminium materials ranging from 1mm to 8mm thickness, performing accurate measuring, cutting, fitting, assembly, and welding to produce high-quality trailer components and complete trailer structures.
- Have a willingness to work with strong attention to detail
- Be punctual and responsible
- Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to fine specifications
- Experience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materials
- Experience with materials such as steel, aluminum & polymer
- Cutting material, weld prep, grinding
- Adherence to WHS
- Fabricate, modify and install sheet metal parts on site
