The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing agricultural machinery and transport equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and operational requirements. Skilled in performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on farm machinery, including tractors, headers, air seeders, spray rigs, and other agricultural equipment to ensure reliability and minimise downtime.
- Experienced in maintaining and repairing transport equipment, including prime movers, grain trailers, livestock trailers, and related heavy vehicles. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults using specialised diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Capable of maintaining and repairing auxiliary farm equipment such as pumps, trailers, utility vehicles (utes), and small engines, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Performs inspections, component replacements, and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment performance and productivity.
- Maintains accurate service and maintenance records while adhering to workplace health and safety requirements. Works independently and as part of a team to support farming operations and ensure machinery availability during critical seasonal activities.
